Last week I had my first experience of a carpet of bluebells and found it quite impressive, Brian.

[Judge Ray comments: If this fine shot was mine, I might have been tempted to kneel down to get my camera nearly at the same level as the flowers]
Brian Walbey: I'm so glad you got to see Bluebells Ray, they look beautiful when in full flower. I would have got lower but we were with other people and I was grabbing my shots as we walked and talked and didn't wish to be a bit rude an unsociable, but I do agree with you completely.
I would love to see all photos in one collage
Brian Walbey: Good idea Chantal, I shall think about that for Spring next year, or do a collage of the ones I took and never used perhaps.

They do, indeed, Brian - and going over fast now
Brian Walbey: I think the Bluebells were a bit late last year, they are certainly fading a bit round my way now.

Yes the bluebell carpet looks lovely Brian
Brian Walbey: One of the joys of an English wood in the spring.
They are beautiful Brian, thanks for sharing your walk.
Brian Walbey: Indeed they are Scotia, I'm so pleased you've all enjoyed this walk with me.

They do indeed - and although I agree with Judge Ray to some degree I appreciate the depth to the array of bluebells afforded by the higher point of view!
Brian Walbey: I also agree with Ray and said the following to him: I would have got lower but we were with other people and I was grabbing my shots as we walked and talked and didn't wish to be a bit rude an unsociable, but I do agree with you completely.
what a wonderful shot. your pshot g10 excels here, Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ayush, the G10 is a good little camera.
So beautiful Brian! I have enjoyed the walk with Maureen and you.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard, and no doubt it has been looking like this again this year.
Now why didn't Wordsworth write about blue bells? smile
Brian Walbey: Perhaps they didn't get any in the Lake District Tom smile
