Taken on a walk at Burleigh Woods, Loughborough, on Spring Bank Holiday Monday (27th.May) last year. Thanks to everybody we met at Cosford yesterday for such a great day out, especially to Ginnie, Astrid, Elizabeth, Peter, Penny, and to most people's surprise, Ray, for making such long journeys from your homelands, it was lovely to meet you all.  Brian and Maureen.

Sorry we missed it Brian - you bluebell woods look inviting!
Brian Walbey: These woods were lovely at the time of our stroll. I did wonder if you would both make Cosford, next time perhaps.
It was a fabulous meet-up, Brian, was't it. It wouldn't have been the same without seeing you and Maureen. And what a delightful image after the fact.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Ginnie, it was a great day out, so many lovely people who none of us would know if it wasn't for this great hobby of ours.

This looks a real joy, Brian; very inviting to beget out and go for a stroll.

It was so good to see everyone yesterday, especially the "foreigners", and you and Maureen.
Brian Walbey: We didn't even know about this wood in all the 25 odd years we've lived here, but it was lovely at Bluebell time. Yes wasn't it a great day, well worth all the effort to go, and hopefully it won't be the last time we meet you and the others again.
A beautiful woodland trail! It was a real pleasure to meet you and Maureen, yesterday - such a good day! smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Martin, and we really did enjoy meeting you also, I trust you had a comfortable journey back to sunny Ealing.
This is an inviting walk, leading around the bend.
Brian Walbey: yes, our old neighbour took us there, we didn't even know it was there.

It is a beautiful, half- shadowy path just for a lovely spring stroll! I love your finely framed photo. Yes, what a surprise that even Ray arrived from Bangkok- will he discover England for longer than one week?
Brian Walbey: We really enjoyed this short walk in some local woods we didn't even know about. I think Ray returns home on Tuesday, what a nice man he is.
this could well be a painting from Monet
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chantal, you might think some of the others this week are even more so like that.

Brian Walbey: Yes it was good to meet you again also Chad, what a lovely group of people they all were. This is a local wood we didn't even know about till last year, and we caught it at probably its best time.

Brian Walbey: Indeed it was a ovely walk Ronke, this is just a taster.
Good to see you both yesterday Brian. Shame we didn't seem to get to have a proper natter.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, we also enjoyed seeing you again also. The day passed so quickly, no doubt, and hopefully, we will meet again, we really would like to see Droitwich (in the dry!), and also call in at Hanbury Hall as well.
Glad you all had a great time Brian!
What a beautiful scene.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard, yes it was a very good meeting.
What a lovely scene, Brian - good to meet you and Maureen yesterday.
Brian Walbey: Isn't it just Tom. It was also good to meet you, I'm only sorry time didn't allow for us to have much more than a short conversation, next time perhaps.
