Those old trees at the back have my full attention, Brian...characterful things!
Brian Walbey: They look just as good from inside the house.
Reminds me of a Jane Austen film... Maybe Mr. Darcy's estate
Brian Walbey: Yes the sort of garden Darcy and his ladies would take a stroll.
Such beautifully manicured gardens!
Brian Walbey: The gardeners had just finished their work for the day and moved away with all their tools, they have done a lovely job.
Very nice place. I like your pov.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Jacquelyn, I could enjoy a sit in this garden.

I am again struck by how lushly green the grass is, Brian
Brian Walbey: I think it is well watered Lisl, the gardeners had just finished their work for the day.

Having seen the house I am not surprised at the symmetry in the garden!
Brian Walbey: It cries out to be formal I guess.

Yes, I can just picture Lord and Lady Walbey surveying the scene and ensuring that the riff-raff are kept away.
Brian Walbey: So can I, quite easily Alan, the riff-raff excludes of course any SC.members who pass this way smile
I am still admiring the same trees as yesterday.
Brian Walbey: Yes aren't they lovely, as is the garden.

What a view and a classical composition - a wonderful formal garden!
Brian Walbey: Yes I wouldn't be upset to look out at this every day and entertain my SC.friends to afternoon tea on the lawn.
