Ulverscroft Manor - April, 2013 2/7

Not my usual sort of image but I thought this was quite a pleasant little composition from Ulverscroft with the old leaves trapped in a crevice in the rocks of a dry stone wall, and of course, lots of moss all over everything.

Like a whole world in miniature for our little bugs and beetles. I like the textures and colours.
Brian Walbey: Indeed Alan, I ought to try more of this sort of stuff.
The decaying brown leaves are in nice contrast to the green moss on the rocks, Brian. You've captured some great textures in this one.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Beverly, not the normal sort of shot I take but this boulder was covered with little fissures like this one.
Very nice shot, Brian - getting up close always pays off!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Tom, not my normal sort of shot.
