A Look At Lakeland (1 of quite a few)

WATENDLATH 6/7

In direct contrast to Monday’s posting a view of Watendlath from the other side of the little packhorse bridge and this time there are some walkers making their way out of the tiny little hamlet and over the bridge which crosses Blea Tarn Gill.

Very nice from this angle! And it looks like a perfect day for a walk!
Brian Walbey: Yes a lovely little place, just a few buildings, including the tearoom, the mountains and the lake (tarn smile ).

I expect they are going to walk along the river valley rather than go to the top of the mountains
Brian Walbey: Yes I should think so, there seem to be plenty of walks on more level ground round there.

Chris and one of his legion walking ladies - a nice scene - you must have stayed for months in the Lakes!
Brian Walbey: He's certainly wearing a cap like Chris's. We were only there for a week but I took 700+ photos during that time!!
....never to be seen again grin

Another pleasing picture Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, on reflection I wish Maureen and I had walked a bit more while we were at this lovely little spot.
The figures add a lot to this,Brian, nicely done.
Brian Walbey: I think this shot needed the people, I do take rather a lot of images without people in, much to Maureen's disgust smile

Lots of directions to choose from.
Brian Walbey: Indeed Mary, footpaths all over the place.
more goodies for us Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard.
Aren't the bridges lovely up there.
Brian Walbey: Indeed they are Pauline, and all looked after by the National Trust I believe.
Superb scene Brian. The figures are a bonus here!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard.

The two walkers add considerably to appeal of this. The signpost looks quite new.
Brian Walbey: Yes it is a new signpost. No doubt you have walked over this lovely little bridge.
Good compo, Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Tom.

That's no walker, Brian...thats his Tiffness!
Brian Walbey: I think from some of his comments during this series he would like to walk in the lakes.
