At this point on our evening walk along the shore of Derwentwater, Keswick, the Sun was beginning to drop below the mountains on the other side of the lake, and by this time we had returned almost to our starting point, but not before taking this early sunset shot.

The magical light is just turning on...
Brian Walbey: yes it got really great for a while before darkness came.
You brought me back to the boats with the blue winter covers Brian... you framed this image of warm colours very well beneath the branches...

I bet your where not alone on your promendade along the lake; I'm sure it's very popular. I like the lighting.
