A Look At Lakeland (1 of quite a few)

EVENING STROLL BY DERWENTWATER 5/7

The walk along the shore of Derwentwater, Keswick, ends at Friar’s Crag and this seat, and the view of the lake behind, is again one of the most photographed views taken by visitors to the Lakes, but with that lovely evening light how could one not shoot a few photographs.  You can watch my 3 minute video of the walk below.

Brian Walbey: It was certainly very peaceful that evening but I guess in the height of the season this spot would be quite busy.

I can certainly see why this is a much-visited place, Brian. And the accompanying music is perfect!

what a great view
Brian Walbey: Magnificent isn't it, I wonder what it's like on a dull winters day though.

Isn't the light terrific in the Lake District Brian?
Brian Walbey: It certainly was that evening Chad.
Another stunning image of this scenic region, Brian. You couldn't have asked for more lovely lighting. Very enjoyable video, too.

Another cracking view. I like the framing very much and you have caught my favourite mountain of Catbells very well. I'll catch the video when I get to my hotel in New Mexico; the wi-fi at the airport is a bit slow.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan, glad to have included your favourite mountain.
A lovely scene, Brian
