Very impressive stuff, Brian, and your ole G10 handled the challenge well in your practiced and capable hands.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray. Canon have just announced the G16 in the states, they do a new one every few months now just like the EOS range, the shots in this series tell me to stick with what I've got.

I love the window details, Brian, but it's the shields below that I've got my eye on!
Brian Walbey: Yes I don't know to whom the shields would have belonged, but they make a nice base to the picture.
great story these windoes tell is
Brian Walbey: Indeed Chantal, and this is only the central section of the window.
Such a beautiful scene Brian! Well done.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Richard.

Magnificent capture of this section of the window, Brian. Such clear and sharp detail.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Beverly, these windows were too good to miss close-up, that's not always possible in every church.

This has come out very clearly, Brian - you must be pleased
Brian Walbey: Yes I was pleased with all these inside pictures Lisl, shows what a good camera my Canon G10 compact can be in the right circumstances.
What a gorgeous window, Brian. Such glorious colours and details. Great shot.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Pauline, it is a lovely window.
Stunning, Brian - I do agree with you about sticking with what you know. I still use my G2 occasionally!
Brian Walbey: At the moment I'm quite happy with the G10 and my Olympus E-450 DSLR.,they do the job for me and I don't have to carry round big bags of stuff like you see some people do.
Well worth a close up Brian
Brian Walbey: Indeed Bill a lovely window.
