Lady St.Mary Church, Wareham 1/7

Back in January I posted a series of images in three different sets of Wareham in Dorset, the town we stayed at for a week last September. This is the second of two further series, each looking at one of the two very fine churches there. This is the town’s parish church of Lady St.Mary close by the River Frome as you can see.

Plenty of water available for the summer garden, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Indeed Ray, the garden is at he rear of a hotel, quite a nice place to stay.
This is wonderful with the water in front!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Elizabeth wait till you see the inside of the church, Frank might have to make some detours next May smile

A church that also shows off an English garden is about as good as it gets, Brian. Just think, you're coiming up on a year and still showing images of that place. smile
Brian Walbey: The garden is at the rear of a very nice hotel on the rivers edge. This really is it for Wareham now I think, I have a very long Lake District series starting two weeks today though.
A pleasing view Brian.
Brian Walbey: Yes the garden is at the rear of a very nice hotel, altogether a nice place to stay.

This is very agreeable Brian, surely a camera club winning shot
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chris. Sadly, once again it would be considered a bot chocolate boxy, I don't care any longer though, I just enjoy taking and showing my photos.

Wouldn't it have been great if there was a nearby place called Wareham Down Brian?
Brian Walbey: Indeed it would Chad.
good composition
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chantal.
A fine church on the banks of a river makes a good photo subject, Mr Brain
Brian Walbey: Yes there are some fine views of this lovely church from along the river bank.

The square hedge looks out of place with the natural shapes surrounding it.
Brian Walbey: Yes it does Mary but as it is in the rear garden of an hotel I guess they can do what they like without considering aesthetics.
A lovely scene, beautifully composed, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Beverly, the church is situated in a very fine position.
Very nicely shot with the river in the foreground Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard, it's almost as if it was put there for photographers.
A beautiful position near the river and the garden. A good view point Brian
Brian Walbey: Indeed Janet, made for we people with cameras smile

Another very nice Wareham Church, Brian - but one I don't think my ancestors had any connections with this one
Brian Walbey: Yes a very fine church Lisl as I hope this series shows.
A fine looking church Brian, including the riverside really adds to the image
Brian Walbey: Yes it was built in a fine position all those years ago.
