photoblog image Dunster Castle 7/7

Dunster Castle 7/7

Also in the inner garden at Dunster Castle is this lovely little pond with a very attractive little fountain in the centre.  As I said the other day it wasn't a good day for weather so sadly I wasn't able to take any good shots of the main structure of the castle, and my inside shots left a bit to be desired, no flash allowed as usual with the National Trust.

Lovely shot Brian! It looks like a very tranquil and colorful place. smile
Brian Walbey: It was really a lovely little courtyard area.
This is a lovely composition, regardless of the light - a beautiful fountain - I love the cobbles!

Spitting seems a tad undignified for a swan, heh.
Brian Walbey: Couldn't agree more Ray smile

Never mind, Brian; your exterior shots more than make up for it. I like the stones around the fountain; I bet they took some laying.
Brian Walbey: This is a lovely little courtyard area as far as I can remember Alan.
I like this series, Mr Brain
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much indeed.

This is lovely with the calla lilies and other water plants.
Brian Walbey: It's all in a nice little courtyard area Mary.
I can only agree with that Buckalew girl, Brian, I laid an area like that once, in pebbles,my neighbour said, 'that must be boring',but it wasn't,it was very therapeutic, a really nice picture,Brian.
Brian Walbey: I can imagine laying those cobbles could be relaxing, but a bit hard on the knees and back.

Good series Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard. We are having a club visit to Leicester Botanic Gardens this afternoon, not been there before, hope it stays dry.
It makes an attractive water feature Brian
Brian Walbey: Yes altogether rather nice isn't it.
Like that you included the border flowers running along that wonderful stone wall, Brian. Altogether a lovely image to finish the series on Dunster Castle.
