Charlecote Manor - The Grounds 7/7

To finish this series of a look at some of the grounds around Charlecote Manor I mentioned yesterday about the small stream that flows under the bridge to join the River Avon and this is just a part of it. We really did enjoy this area, and if you live in the U.K.or even visit from abroad then Charlecote Manor really is a great place to visit, there is even a lovely little church, guess what I’m showing tomorrow :)

Best of series..great shot, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray.
I've enjoyed this series - my favorite images are of the beautiful grounds. This is just perfect!
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Elizabeth, perhaps a certain gentleman might like to take you there for a visit, there is a good Shearings hotel almost opposite the gate and Stratford upon Avon and the Cotswolds just down the road.

an idyllic, pastoral scene - but where are the sheep?
Brian Walbey: There were sheep but in a less public area of the parkland.

Brian Walbey: Indeed Richard, unfortunately I forgot to take my towel, i will know better next time smile
A nice gentle ebd to the series Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill, the parkland is very attractive.
Looks like there should be a few ducks in there.
Brian Walbey: Strangely there wasn't, we must all be satisfied with Thursdays swan smile
je suivrais bien ce chemin
Brian Walbey: We did and it was a fine walk through the parkland back to the main house.
Just perfect,Brian.
Brian Walbey: Isn't it just Frank. perhaps you should read my reply to your young lady.

I would not mind being on the grass and look at the sky and here the wind through the trees.
This looks like the garden of Eden to me.
Brian Walbey: This was a nice area to walk round Astrid, the parkland is beautiful. I told Ginnie the other day we were all only about 10 to 15 minutes from Charlecote when we met up in Stratford the other year, if only we'd have know about this place.

A lovely spot to wander in.
Brian Walbey: Indeed Tom, well worth a visit if you pass that way.
