Charlecote Manor - Inside 4/7

Charlecote Manor has a very nice music room which includes this beautiful harp, but unfortunately whilst the notice in the foreground might be of riveting interest it is nigh on impossible to get a picture of the room without including it, and the rope cordon next to it.

Ha Ha

I am thinking, Brian, that a clumsy old bugger could accidently knock all that stuff over, then take a couple of quick pictures before staging a dramatic and [ahem] heart-felt apology...
Brian Walbey: Indeed Ray, fortunately, at the time, I wasn't a clumsy old what you said smile

No expense has been spared here has it, just look at the quality of the harp
Brian Walbey: All very fine isn't it.

No use harping on about the inconvenience of the rope, of which there is enough to hang yourself ... that's if you wanted to.
Brian Walbey: I didn't want to at the time Richard, hence I just leaned over it smile

Such simple pleasures in those days. I dread to think of the cost of such a harp these days.
Brian Walbey: Indeed Alan, and it looks a very fine instrument.

That seat is bit inconvenient if they wanted to watch TV; one of the couple would get a stiff neck. smile
Brian Walbey: I suspect those seats were meant for other sorts of recreational pursuits Alan, I stand to be corrected of course smile
It is a rather impressive music room!
Brian Walbey: Yes it is, oh that the NT.would think about having somebody playing in there as the visitors passed through.
that harp is gorgeous
Brian Walbey: Indeed it is Chantal, Chris thinks it could well be a very expensive one.

Those seats are fascinating Brian, I have always wanted to try one but never have.
Brian Walbey: Me too Chad, we must meet at Charlecote and have a chat on that seat should I ever get down your way again.
I like the fancy seat and the harp is wonderful
Brian Walbey: All very nice isn't it.
That's a fine looking harp!
Brian Walbey: I shouldn't wonder if it is a bit more than a cheap one from the nearest music store.
The chair is wonderful,Brian,as you say, music would be nice.
Brian Walbey: I suspect a chair like that would be ideal in holding someone's attention, it would be rude to turn away wouldn't it.
It is a magnificent harp but it is the chair that attracts me Brian
Brian Walbey: I've seen chairs like that before but this one is particularly ornate isn't it.

That looks like Mary Tudor on the wall, Brian
Brian Walbey: Sadly, as you probably know it's not usually possible to see who the paintings are actually of.
