Lakeland Panorama 7/7

LATRIGG LOOKING OUT

My final panorama from our recent Lake District holiday was taken from just below the summit of Latrigg, just to the North of Keswick. We cheated and drove up another narrow and twisty lane to a car park, but did manage to walk quite a way towards the top from there. On the left is Keswick and Derwentwater beyond, in the centre you can make out Bassenthwaite lake and to the right the Skiddaw range. [7 shot panorama]

There are some fine opportunites for mountain scenes from Latrigg and this is part of the Skiddaw range at Keswick referred to above. I can only imagine what it would look like in the Winter with snow on the summits.  I will cover our Lake District holiday in more detail in a few weeks time.
