Bradgate Park Footpath

Another shot from within Charnwood Forest, this time in Bradgate Park where we took a walk one afternoon last summer. This time we climbed up on to higher ground and I found this pleasant little view through some of the trees on the footpath we were using.

This is a very summery shot Brian: the grass is so green
Brian Walbey: Yes early summer last year Chris.
Good eye - this is really lovely!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Elizabeth, and only a short drive from us.
very fresh greens
Brian Walbey: Yes indeed, early summer colours from last year Chantal.
We didn't have a summer last year Brian.

This must be a fake

There is distance and distance Brian. Here you have made it feel that your photograph stretches away for ever.
Brian Walbey: This very fine country park at Bradgate does indeed stretch a very long way Chad, from one end to the other is a fair old walk to be honest.
I love the green everywhere. Those are some nice old trees.
Brian Walbey: Not far from where we live Mary, and Richard Trim as well. This was early last summer.
Very green and very cheerful...!
Brian Walbey: Indeed Sesan, late Spring, early Summer colours.
Oh, happy memories Brian. We used to drive up there from our house in Nuneaton for a piece of beautiful England. Watching the deer rut was always a wonderful sight. You have captured it just as I remember it.
Brian Walbey: I'm so pleased to stir a memory Pauline, it is only a short run from Nuneaton to Bradgate isn't it.
A wonderful perspective Brian. I wish I could have a walk there!
Brian Walbey: I'm sure you would enjoy walking here Richard, the whole of Bradgate Park covers some 830 acres and being close to Leicester is a very popular place. It's website shows you more http://www.bradgatepark.org/index.php?ID=1

Ah yes, England's green and pleasant land. At least the countryside stayed green because of the "watering" last year smile
Brian Walbey: Indeed it did Alan although Bradgate does look good in the Autumn when all the trees etc.turn various shades of brown.
Idyllic countryside, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Indeed it is Tom, not too far for you to run down to Bradgate for a day out I would think.
and a fine view it is. beautiful day
Brian Walbey: The whole of the parkland is beautiful Ayush.
I like that wall leading the eye on through the gap in the trees, Brian.
