Hidcote Manor Garden 11/12

Presumably this was at one time an entrance road of some sort in to the Hidcote estate but now it is the wide avenue bordered on either side by this lovely group of tall and straight trees.

Oh, I loved this beeches - avenue - wonderful sun patches on the ground - oh, I remember!
Brian Walbey: I think I was there at just the right time for this shot. I'm so pleased you are remembering all these different parts of the gardens.
I feel peace and serenity in this shot - just what I feel in the forest.
Brian Walbey: It was a nice quiet area, a it away from the main parts where most visitors spend their time.
Lovely photo of a much more civilised time of year.
Brian Walbey: Indeed Martin, oh that spring would get going this year.
A nice place to stroll to avoid the heat of the sun. Well it would be if we ever get heat again
Brian Walbey: Indeed Bill and quite different to the main part of the garden. We have had quite a bit of sun over recent days but no warmth to go with it.

It's good to see part of the gardens as natural as this, Brian
Brian Walbey: Yes it's quite different to the main areas of the garden.
It should really be starting to look like that now, but we seem to be a couple of months behind, nice shot
Brian Walbey: Yes things do seem to be well behind where we live, although we have had sunshine but no warmth with it.
A wonderful perspective with the dappled light Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard, quite different to the floral parts of the garden.
lovely smooth barked trees and that fantastic (spring?) green. Lovely light too smile
Brian Walbey: I wish spring would hurry up and come to be like it was that day, thanks for your comment.
nice light in here. the greens are striking, gives a very fresh appearance to the image
Brian Walbey: It was a good day for shots like this Ayush.
