They look to be enjoying the day - as you were!
Brian Walbey: We certainly were Elizabeth, and these ladies were placed just right for the composition.

The lady in the middle is sitting very upright Brian.
Brian Walbey: A lady with military bearing Chad.

That bench is on the right place to have a wonderful overview.
Do I see that right....on the right side of the picture it looks like the word LOVE .... grin
Wonderful shot BTW and yes the middle one just ate a stick.
Brian Walbey: Yes and there is a fine view downriver which I'm showing on Friday (Boat Friday). That is the word LOVE I checked on another image, the centre lady has what we would call a military bearing doesn't she.
Those three ladies fill that bench very tidily Brian
Brian Walbey: Indeed they do Bill, just made for 3 ageing bums smile
great to catch them on the back
Brian Walbey: They were in just the right place for a decent composition Chantal.

I see we are keeping a watchful eye out for Icelandic trawlers operating on our inland waterways ;o)
Brian Walbey: Indeed they were Mike, I think smile You get the award for the most imaginative comment of the day so far.
The lady in red is keeping her back straight.
Brian Walbey: "Ramrod straight with military bearing" is the phrase your looking for Richard.
Lovely old buildings Brian, a pleasure to enjoy in the sun smile
Brian Walbey: Yes it is a lovely spot, tomorrow i will show you more of the river and boats, well it is Boat Friday!
Enjoying the peace and tranquility I expect Brian
Brian Walbey: Yes as we were also Janet, it was a very pleasant early September afternoon.
Lots to feast the eye on, Brian; beautifully composed.
Brian Walbey: It is a lovely spot Beverly, thanks for your comment.

Sadly, there is no place for me to take a seat - a calming river scene!
Brian Walbey: I'm sure they would have squeezed up to make room for you Philine.

Just wonder what they are saying/thinking. Lovely colors here!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bonnie, I guess they were talking about whatever ladies of a certain age talk about.

Looks like the Fisheries Patrol people have finished for the day. A beautiful day and the three ladies are enjoying the tranquil scene.
Brian Walbey: Yes and we were enjoying the lovely day as well Alan.
A beautiful meditation place Brian!
Brian Walbey: During the week I guess Richard, but perhaps not at weekends when school is out!
That wall must be more interesting than it looks from here, Brian.
Brian Walbey: I guess it must be Graeme, mind you it has some fine rocks built in to it.
A very fine composition Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Sally, those ladies were ideally placed for this composition.
I like the way that the people are looking at what you are shooting Brian... there is quite the contrast between the old wood of the marine buildings and the stone of the bell tower....petersmile
Brian Walbey: There is certainly an age difference but I guess those riverside buildings are quite old.

I like the composition and the clarity here, Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Lisl, those ladies on the seat were perfectly placed for this.
A nice spot to watch the world go by!
Brian Walbey: It is Tom, during the week when children are at school at least!

The oldish buildings look great in this context, Brian.
Brian Walbey: I agree Ray, the church is ion a great position for photos and gives a good backdrop.
