Lynmouth 6/7

Just a few yards further up the River Lyn at Lynmouth from yesterdays image is the bridge that allows one to cross the river and make your way to the beach, but this shot also gives a good idea of the gorge through which the waters make their way down from the hills of Exmoor above.

Based on this series, Brian, I am able to conclude that Lynmouth has much going for it!
Brian Walbey: Indeed ray, it is a lovely little coastal village, along a quite rugged coastline, and in the season, but during the school terms a fine place to visit.
This is a very good composition Brian... i can imagine this river flowing between the hills and down to the sea....petersmile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Peter. The gorge these waters flow down is quite spectacular.
not a spot for water rafting then. nice view point. i like the wall.
Brian Walbey: Certianly no water rafting here Ayush, not deep enough in normal times.
...and one of the watercourses for the terrible flash floods of '52.
Brian Walbey: Indeed Richard, hard to imagine this in a state of overflowing isn't it.
