Opposite the Elizabethan House in Great Yarmouth I showed yesterday is a ship called the Lydia Eva moored up alongside the Quay. She has quite a chequered history following her being built and launched at Kings Lynn in 1930 as a steam powered Herring drifter, and is now looked after by the Lydia Eva Charitable Trust, and gives day excursion trips off the Norfolk Coast. From where we were it wasn’t possible to get a much better angle on her than this. You can read all of her history here .
