Calke Abbey Garden - Bits & Pieces 2/7

Continuing at Calke Abbey a few miscellaneous shots taken in or near the garden I showed last week.  Having entered the brick lean to greenhouse through the doorway i showed yesterday I rather liked this part of the back wall that has obviously seen a lot of changes over the many years it has been there.

It was probably painted blue once

It has seem changes but has some charm as a result.

That wall looks "lived-in" so to speak. I think these colours are very striking

You are right - there is some mystery about the blue back wall with different layers -who knows more?
