Looks like they got a big bag of cone-flower seeds this season, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Indeed they have Ray and we have a lot of these in our garden at home at the moment.
I like your POV Brian... Lots of nice texture too.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Jacquelyn, getting low down keeps my ageing knees bending smile
I love how you've framed this Brian! Lovely!
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Elizabeth.

Look at all those Black-eyed Susans! smile
Brian Walbey: Indeed Ginnie, and we have a lot of those in our own back garden at the moment.
very fresh and friendly
Brian Walbey: It always seems that way at Calke garden.
Lovely contrasting colours Brian
Brian Walbey: Yes and that was one reason why I took this particular shot.

You could say the plant in the middle is under attack and being surrounded Brian.
Brian Walbey: But altogether they do look good I feel.

The palm tree seems like an alien invader to the English country garden. What are the yellow flowers? I've seen them in many places on this trip but they are looking past their best now.
Brian Walbey: I believe those yellow flowers are a species of Rudbeckia, of which there are many types, indeed we have a host of them in our back garden at the moment.

I like the way the plants are caught between the walls and the grass - just as the gardener, and you as the photographer, planned
Brian Walbey: Definitely the gardeners work Lisl, not mine.
A beautyiful festival of colours here Brian!
Brian Walbey: Yes indeed Richard, all credit to the gardeners.
Lovely colours Brian
Brian Walbey: Down to the gardeners Fred.
Fine colour contrasts!
Brian Walbey: A really nice mix isn't it.

Brian Walbey: The mix of colours in this corner really caught my eye John.
Yep, fine gardens, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Well worth a visit if you come up this way Graeme.
