Just about the most popular and tasty food on sale at the museum is the Fish and Chips. The Museum’s award-winning fish and chips are cooked in beef dripping for an authentic taste of the past. Hobbs Fish and Chip Shop, in the village centre, has dished up the nation's favourite food to countless Black Country folk. The shop was originally situated at 41-42 Hall Street, Dudley and the landmark building was moved and rebuilt, brick by brick, at the Museum. I caught this young couple just after they had left the shop with their portions, and I might add that all of who were there that day felt the need to enjoy these fabulous Fish and Chips ourselves.
We are away at the moment, I will catch up with you following our return tomorrow.
