A Stroll At Kedleston Hall 5/7

On Tuesday and Wednesday I showed you the lake at Kedleston Hall on one side of the stone bridge and this a view of the other side of the lake with the bridge in the background.  As you can see this is a lovely place to walk and our visit being on a weekday in early Autumn we not only had lovely light for photographs but also acres of parkland almost to ourselves.

Its a beautiful image, Brian, especially with that lovely wedge of grasses in the foreground.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray. I think it those grasses had been neatly trimmed it wouldn't have been quite the same.
another nice image from your rejuvenating stroll
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Ayush.
Wonderful! I love it when you can have a place like this to yourself!
Brian Walbey: I was very lucky that day Elizabeth, the light and weather were excellent and at least till after lunchtime not too many people about.

It's a storyland for a great fairytale, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Indeed it is Ginnie, add it to the list of places we will take you and Astrid if you should ever venture to our part of the world.

You chose the right day Brian
Brian Walbey: Yes indeed Chris, including not too many people. The only other time we've been to Kedleston the weather was good and a 40's thing was on which gave for other sorts of photos.

Just how I like it Brian.
Brian Walbey: Indeed Peter, I generally try and avoid people in shots like this and on this morning I was lucky, it got quite busy and crowded after lunch.

Idyllic Brian, perfect spot for a picnic!
Brian Walbey: I couldn't agree more Mike, and like most NT properties there were families doing just that once lunchtime came along.
I certainly love all these beautiful countryside scenes.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Mary, we are so lucky in our little area of England to have lots of places like this to go not too many miles away.
another lovely one
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Chantal.

Brian Walbey: It is lovely parkland in good weather Philine.
The perfect day, just right for a picnic by the lake smile Nice colour and shot Brian.
Brian Walbey: A lot of people do take their picnics here John, as they do in most NT places with a lot of parkland, and very nice too.
very nice Brian, fine place.
Brian Walbey: It is beautiful parkland Juan, and not very far from us.

Looks like a lovely sunny day here, not too humid, I hope! Afew fluffy white clouds, too; just right.
