Simple is often the most beautiful! And this certainly is!
Brian Walbey: It just caught my eye because it is so simple.
I can almost hear the water run
Brian Walbey: I always enjoy the trickling sound of small streams like this, very restful.

A wonderful photo! I can hear the stream running and rushing - and the grasses enjoy the permanent wetness! Worth a prize!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Philine. The sound of trickling water is always very restful isn't it.

Very tranquil, Brian. Tumbling waters don't have to take the form of waterfalls to be of interest and this is one such case. A place to dangle to feet after a summer's walk in the glens.
Brian Walbey: It was a delight to find Alan, there is quite a lot to photograph near this spot which is where the new funicular railway goes up the mountain but this spot was nice and quiet.
J just love fast flowing streams Brian ... and this is a good one.
Brian Walbey: So do I Richard, on a beautiful Scottish mountainside.

Looks cool and fresh - mind you Aviemore is always cool and fresh!
Brian Walbey: Indeed it has been both times we've been there Mike, but quite a nice place away from the main tourist bits.
Certainly love composition.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Mary.
