Some while ago I posted a series taken at Shugborough, a stately home now owned by the National Trust and which is managed by Staffordshire County Council and which was formerly the homes of the Earls of Lichfield, the Anson family. My earlier series was of some of the famous monuments in the grounds but this one will be a quick peek inside parts of the house. Happily not only is photography allowed in the house but the use of flash is also, its former owner, the late Patrick Lichfield, would no doubt be pleased to hear that.
I took several shots of this beautiful Dining room from all sorts of angles but decided just to show you this one as both ends of the room are very similar in design and layout. Who wouldn’t enjoy sitting in these lovely surroundings and be waited on to enjoy ones Lunch or Dinner.
