Mr.Pig and Friends

We took our Grandson out to a local farm park the other evening for a visit with his Cubs group and lo and behold, who should be there at the gate to greet us but this fine bunch of characters, standing on each others shoulders.  I wonder if there are any among us to whom this picture might have a special poignantcy?

I can imagine ole Lord Chad getting a bit wet eyed at the sight of that sheep second from top, Brian...and ole Mr Eb probably telling everyone "See...told you I was famous!".
Brian Walbey: I don't know about Chad but Bill (Mr.Eb) enjoyed the photo thankfully.
Hahahaha very good Brian.
Brian Walbey: Glad you enjoyed it Bill, hope you have a good day tomorrow with nice weather to go with it.
Lol... i have never seen totem pigs before and i live in Canada... where there are many totem poles... great find and montage Brian....petersmile
Brian Walbey: As soon as I saw this I thought it would have to go on SC, glad it entertained you Peter.
Hey it's Eb!!! Awesome!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Elizabeth.
Lol... "Well Hello there Mr. Pig and friends."
Brian Walbey: That's the first thing I thought when I saw this.

Hheheheh!! A find tribute to Eb and I love the sheep, too!
Brian Walbey: I couldn't avoid taking these shots especially for SC when we saw this Alan.

Haha- I greet you, dear Eb, you are the most beautiful fellow! The black-white sheep could be another character grazing on the fat meadows of the Dartmoor!
Brian Walbey: Quite a collection aren't they Philine, but Mr.Eb is the one that matters.
An illustration of the term 'pecking order' with the bird a'top. Pigs rate much lower it appears.
Brian Walbey: Yes indeed but the pig isn't quite at the bottom is he.
Isn't there something about standing on the shoulders of giants?
Brian Walbey: I seem to remember there is a saying about that Tom, in which case Mr.Pig is only part way up the pecking order.
I think every one of those animals is a totem for someone. Funny that it is an ass holding everyone up.
Brian Walbey: Only an Ass would be silly enough to have all that weight on its shoulders Mary.
Hahaha. Mr Pig gets everywhere doesn't he. Nice one Brian
Brian Walbey: Indeed he does Janet.
Mr Eb in the middle! Excellent montage Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Richard.
No doubt this is an interpretation of the famous Roasted Pig tokens so popular in the Caribbean islands. Being the pig one of the few edible mammals in the region, (this I leave for a further explanation) it gets this monumental imaginary in all villages of note.
Brian Walbey: That's interesting to know Juan, I don't think anybody would eat this wooden one, they cook it over a fire made from this wooden pig though smile
One for Bill I suppose smile
Brian Walbey: Yes Bill came straight to mind when I saw this, and fortunately he found it amusing.
