The Photographers Spring Bonus 2/5

I am continuing with my recent two short walks over farmers fields which are covered in Oil Seed Rape. Crossing over the road from yesterday I entered the first field with Oil Seed Rape growing, through a small opening in the hedge, and took a couple of general shots, the bottom left looking South and the bottom right looking out to the West.

Wonderful stuff, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray.
Oil Seed Rape is beautiful - what a lovely walk this must've been!
Brian Walbey: It is indeed Elizabeth although people who suffer from Hay Fever don't always like it very much, I understand it can set their illness off.
These Oil Seed Rape fields are very beautiful Brian... this is another great collage....petersmile
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Peter.

These flowers usually last for only a couple of weeks Brian
Brian Walbey: Yes they don't last long and this interminable rain isn't helping them stay looking good.
this is spring the way it should be presented
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Chantel.
Nice collage Brian. Oilseed Rape has become a familiar sight in recent years
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill. Yes it has, we get a lot round our way and it is rotated in various fields each year, these ones don't have it growing very often.
Another fine evocative montage Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Fred.
Lovely scenarios, great takes Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Juan.
Canola is planted in spring here so we don't get to see these pretty yellow seed flowers till July. They are very eye catching especially with the nice blue skies.
Brian Walbey: I gather from past comments to me and others your crops do lag behind ours Mary, I guess because of the late Spring because of your cooler climate.
And to think it might be houses the next time Brian waste of beautiful countryside.
Brian Walbey: Well this side of the road, and these fields will hopefully never have anything built on them, there will be World War 3 in Shepshed if that idea ever comes up.
this is a great collection of images you have here. I love the colours you've managed to capture, great work smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Eleanor.
Looks beautiful Brian, I love seeing those fields of yellow, with blue sky days!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Martin, it was still there yesterday, 2 weeks later, and still looking good.
Like the bottom two the most, but spoilt for choice smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks John.
More fine images Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard.
I've always thought it was a rather alien colour in the English countryside. Growing up in the countryside, I never saw it at all as a boy.
Brian Walbey: Yes I was brought up in the country and don't really remember seeing it as a boy either.
Wonderful yellow waves Brian!
Brian Walbey: Yes they are Richard.
Another lovely collage Brian. The rape certainly brightens things up
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Janet.

You and Martin are on the same wavelength today, Brian
Brian Walbey: We most certainly are Lisl.
Quite dazzling at the moment, isn't it?
Brian Walbey: Yes it is Graeme.
