Maureen's Afternoon Out 5/7

Thanks for all the lovely comments you have made about some of the photos I took at Felley Priory, you will realise of course that Brian has done a bit of twiddling in Photoshop before he put them on here so it isn't entirely all my work, but it is nice to know you are enjoying them. Maureen.

I, Brian, particularly liked this shot, some nice reflections and the man well placed in the frame to help the composition, and it also helps that he is looking at the flowers.

I agree Brian that this is a lovely composition!
Brian Walbey: I thought so too Elizabeth, I think I gave it just a tiny crop, but nothing else.

Maureen has true talent: she aught to go into the chocciebox calendar business now that a certain person from D******** has given up
Brian Walbey: She did do photography for a hobby before we had children and had her own SLR and came to the camera club, nowadays she generally sticks to pictures of people at functions and so on. I don't mind if the fellow you mention gives up the chocolate box business but I do wonder who to report him to for ill-treatment of cuddly bears!

Way to go, Maureen...and Brian, too. You make a good team! smile
Brian Walbey: I have suggested she opens up a freebie SC blog Ginnie but she says she is too busy doing other stuff, which she is, I don't mind doing the processing bit, we shall see, she has loads of slides from when she had her own SLR and belonged to the camera club with me, pre children of course.
Nice to see that you are making a great team!
Another beautiful composition here.
Brian Walbey: I think we are a good team Richard, after 41 years plus two more courting we know where we stand. Anyway I liked this composition also.

She has a good eye for a capture Brian you will have to take her out more with her camera.
Brian Walbey: Yes I liked this one I particular Peter, I will have to try and coax her into doing some pictures but she does have several hobbies and activities of her own.
Teamwork always gives the best results.
Brian Walbey: It seemed to with this one Mary, I was pleased with the whole lot when she gave me the card to download. She also had some fine shots of the other ladies she went with and I have done some prints so they can look at those.

I am sure Brian's input was minimal grin
Brian Walbey: A little crop and a touch of Topaz.
Quite an idyllic scene!

Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Philine, a busy weekend, I am singing in a concert at our parish church this evening to raise funds for a local church based youth centre.
I think that you must have softened this a bit Brian.
Brian Walbey: Just a touch of Topaz Chad.
