There is quite a nice area of the garden built within some modestly high hedgerow and then one moves out of there into a nice area of woodland just beyond.

 

This is the exit to the woodland but a pleasant shrub on the left still gives the feeling of being in a garden.

Yew hedges: very traditional
Brian Walbey: It is a failry traditional sort of garden Chris to be honest.
curious what s behind the hedge
Brian Walbey: It leads to the woodland area Chantal.
It looks like a secret path to a secret garden. Very interesting.
Brian Walbey: Yes it leads to a nice area of woodland Sheila, and then round to a nice lawn where drinks were being served that day as part of the Garden Party.
Very pretty with the blooming butterfly bush.

Love these gardens that every entrance take's you somewhere interesting.

Brian Walbey: Yes indeed John, it was unfortunately a bit overcast that afternoon, we will have to go again this year and hope it is sunny.
