Seen In Whitby 3/7

Just to the right of the Market Hall I featured over the last two days is this delightful little gift shop called Curio Corner.  I didn’t go in but it certainly doesn’t look very big from the outside.

Looks like it is full of model kits, Brian.

The bike adds a lot to the scene...is it yours?
Brian Walbey: No the bike definitely isn't mine Ray, it would have been a long haul by bke from where we live smile I must admit to not looking in the shop, I guess it is a gift shop of sorts.
I like this little shop - and the image is terrific!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Elizabeth, it is a dinky little shop isn't it.

It could be the smallest shop in town
Brian Walbey: I wouldn't argue with you on that point Chris.
Small is beautiful Brian
Brian Walbey: It's a change from one of these big chain store types at least.
I`d love to have a look inside! Nice image, Brian. (:o)
Brian Walbey: I must admit to not looking in the shop Rosalyn, I was dodging about with the camera whilst Maureen was shopping, see Friday coming.
In Spain there is a proverb that says ... Good perfume is in small packages ...

A greeting Brian!
Brian Walbey: We have a very similar one Eduardo, thanks for your comment.
Small and so cute Brian.
Lovely capture!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard, it is quite attractive I felt.

Big enough for me, Brian...and very Dutch. smile
Brian Walbey: It does have a hint of Dutchness I agree Ginnie, and a ladies bike for you or Astrid to have a quick ride round the harbour nearby.

What a fabulous looking little shop Brian. To think that the country was peppered with places like this when we were young.
Brian Walbey: It is nice isn't it, and yes, I remember little shops like this from when I was a youngster.
That certainly is small.
Brian Walbey: But none the less quite attractive I felt.

Oh, I love the little shops in England -and the name Curio (from curious?) sounds nice. A fine picture with the bike in the front!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Philine, it is quite an attractive little shop isn't it.
what a nice little house there
Brian Walbey: Well actually it is a little shop Chantal, quite fun isn't it.
It does look very tiny Brian, but I bet it's like an Aladdins cave inside. Full of treasures, ancient and not so old.
Brian Walbey: I must admit to not going in Sheila, Maureen was shopping (see Friday) and so I dodged about with the camera.

Most likely a little gem inside Brian small and a mystery.
Brian Walbey: Yes I suppose I should have gone in but I was busy with the camera.

I think the bike outside would attract me within, Brian
Brian Walbey: Perhaps it is the company bike Lisl.
I wonder if the bicycle belongs to a customer who just couldn't resist seeing what the Curio Corner had to offer. A charming image, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Beverly, probably, but of course it could be the owners company bike, no room for a car there.

Perhaps it a rather like the Tardis inside? I bet the model cars and buses in the window were to tempt in the small children and thus their parents.
Brian Walbey: I should have had a look inside but I was busy with the camera, Maureen was shopping, see Friday.
Looks like an interesting shop, reminds me of a kit model shop I used to love visiting as a lad smile
Brian Walbey: I know the sort of shop you mean John, a treasure chest for young boys.

The invitation was there Brian. A very warm image Brian and I note, taken with your G10 smile
Brian Walbey: yes indeed Martin, sad I didn't look inside but I was too busy with the G10, a fine little camera.
No space for bikes, anyway.
Brian Walbey: Definitely not Graeme.
It must be a very warm and cosy little shop. Would love to poke my head around the door smile
Brian Walbey: I wish now that I had gone in and had a look but I was busy with my camera.
does look promising from outside despite its small size
