photoblog image Sawley Marina 2/2

Sawley Marina 2/2

This chap was busy on his narrow boat at Sawley doing something to his television aerial, all mod cons on these boats nowadays.

Once again this one has a nice reflection and the church in the background is the one in which our daughter got married on 16th.April last year.

A super picture Brian. The church in the background is wonderful.

I love that you got the church steeple!

wonderful....superb composition
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much.
they are funny boats to see, the narrow ones
Brian Walbey: Out of picture there are ranks of these narrow boats all berthed up for the winter, unfortunately my camera battery cried enough before I got to shoot them.
Superb colour, composition, and content Brian.

A perfect Sunday shot Brian
Brian Walbey: Yes indeed Chris, peaceful and a lack of rush and tear.
The reflections really pop out.
Brian Walbey: That was one of the things that caught ye eye Mary.

Another excellent canal capture Brian, nothing like a good walk along the canal on a sunny day.

Mind you I walk them in the rain and still think its worth the effort.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Peter. We have several canals round my way, near Loughborough, they are nice places to walk.
Another wonderful composition Brian. The light is superb!
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Richard.
like the composition Brian. You are lucky to have river navigation.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Juan. We have a lot of rivers and canals round my way.

I like this fine view of canalworld, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray.
Looks as though he's got a satellite ready to launch in his hands!
Brian Walbey: Just putting the television aerial up Tom, most important bit of kit on the boat.
Lovely light Brian. I am enjoying your canal scenes
Brian Walbey: Thanks Janet.
I love the setting, Brian and it was nice to hear your personal connection with the place. A really pleasing image to view.
