Round My Way #4/5

Ulverscroft Grange

Founded in 1989 by the late Mr David Clarke, the Shuttlewood Clarke Foundation is a registered charity situated on the edge of Charnwood Forest.   The Foundation has two properties in the depths of the woodland in Charnwood Forest and this was taken from Ulverscroft Grange where they have a lovely tearoom serving excellent lunches.

We are looking more or less due South with the hills of Bradgate Park just left of centre and Leicester in the far distance.

We have lots of lovely scenery like this round my way.

Looks like a glorious English summer's day! Nothing spectacular here but it does not need to be - it's lovely as it is!
Brian Walbey: It is a lovely area Alan and I took this from the veranda on which we were sitting enjoying lunch, one of the joys of being retired.
I like the field, and also the dry stack wall.
Brian Walbey: It is a very popular place for people to go for lunch in the summer Elizabeth, I think the view says why.

It must be great to wander over these fields...if you can.
Brian Walbey: Well I went in to the filed to take some pictures Chad but there is a footpath nearby which one is expected to stick to I think.
Very pretty landscape and a very good composition.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Mary. In the summer there are not many better places round our way to sit and have lunch on the veranda.
Lush greens and vivid blue sky with fluffy white clouds. What more could you ask for in a landscape. Well, the stone fence in the foreground doesn't hurt either. Well done, Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Beverly. What a shame you all live spread out across the world, a lunch party here in the summer would be a great occasion for an SC gathering.

Really, really like those sky sheep, Brian.
Brian Walbey: I deliberately included those Ray so I can use the clouds elsewhere if needed.
