'Scene' Around Whitby 6/14

A series of odd bits and pieces I saw around Whitby in May.

I guess most of us wouldn't be seen dead in one of these but they do make for a colourful picture as they hang from the top of a fancy goods booth on the quay.

I would have no problem wearing one of these when I am dead, Brian.

[grin]
Brian Walbey: As far as I am concerned for me it would not be before.
I could use the blue one with the neck guard when i work in the garden Brian.... but it is a colourful display....petersmile
Brian Walbey: Not my style of headwear at all peter.
a collector!
Brian Walbey: No a sea front gift store Chantal.
a fine place to visit i suppose, before a costume party or so.
Brian Walbey: Well I suppose you could wear these at a party but they are on a seafront goodie stall, some people walk about with things like this on whilst on holiday!!!
Helps keep the sun out of the eyes, I like the captains version smile
Brian Walbey: Yes I guess they do John, but these days I prefer my headgear to be slightly more reservedsmile
I have a disgusting old Worcestershire Cricket hat and these would probably be an improvement grin
Brian Walbey: Sadly though these do look a bit silly on men of a certain age, which we might be considered to be Bill!
An interesting one Brian. As you will know everyone here in the US, seems to have one of these.
Brian Walbey: I do have something similar but it is black without great big colourful logos.
You have got to have a hat/cap shop on sea fronts Brian. Can't see anything there that would tempt me though
Brian Walbey: Yes there is nothing that catches my eye either Janet.
