photoblog image 'Scene' Around Whitby 4/14

'Scene' Around Whitby 4/14

A series of odd bits and pieces I saw around Whitby in May.

I showed a "choccie box" series of Whitby over the last two weeks.

Here is another such image but this time reflected in the window of a quayside shop window.

"Interesting" door ornament, Brian.
Brian Walbey: To be honest Ray I was so swept up by the reflection I never even noticed the door up until now.

A nice shot Brian: nicely spotted
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chris.
it could well be from a Harry Potter scene this window...
Brian Walbey: I'll take your word for that Chantal, I'm not really familiar with Harry Potter to any great extent.

Good reflection and it makes the contents of the shop quite mysterious.
Brian Walbey: I thought it was well worth taking Ingrid, thanks for your comment.

The reflection is framed lovely in the window Brian, very detailed smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Linda.
Brian, this has to be one of your best. A fantastic image.

I think this is the best Whitby picture so far Brian.

so many interesting reflections in one window - I like the doorknocker, too, and the swinging D- letter - the same D we may recognize depicted on the mugs. Perhaps you know the complete word?
Brian Walbey: I don't know what the D is for Philine, in fact I never even noticed the door when i took the picture.
Everything is captured in the shop Brian smile
Brian Walbey: It is indeed John, thanks.
Great reflection Brian. It has taken over the window.
Brian Walbey: I couldn't avoid taking it Janet, I usually miss these sort of things!
Great reflection!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Tom.

This looks rather Gothic but what a fine reflection in the window.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chad.

Lovely reflections and a curious door-knocker. I would have had to add it to my collection!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Mike. I didn't even notice the door knocker when I was there, I will take it next time we go to Whitby.
