Whitby 'Choccie Box' Style 13/14

Presented in panorama style this is a shot taken looking down the harbour from the centre of town towards the piers of the harbour entrance in the distance.

The RNLI lifeboat is moored up on the right and it looked to me as though the boathouse and its wharf is fairly new.

The yellow cruiser on the left is the Esk Belle II, a 40 seater boat that gives sea cruises along the coast several times throughout the day.

Lovely harbourscape, Brian.
Brian Walbey: You get more idea of the layout from this shot Ray, this is where most of the last two weeks photos were taken.
Very pretty shot, Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Elizabeth.

A glorious view, Brian. I can smell the sea air; it's given me a good appetite and reminds me that it's time for breakfast.
Brian Walbey: Yes it is a fine harbour Alan, hope you enjoyed your breakfast.
Lovely view, wish the weather this morning was more like this!
Brian Walbey: It is indeed Bill, we have a cloudy/bright morning so far, hope it stays like it, there is a family barbecue on at our church at teatime.

Lovely scene, with a good composition that leads you right into the picture.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Aussie.
Once upon a time boat trips up and down the coast were the main means for getting about!
Brian Walbey: I guess they were Tom, especially in an area such as that.
Great shot Brian. You got a lot in
Brian Walbey: Thanks Janet.
Another fine picture Brian. I think I see the lifeboat in the background.
Brian Walbey: Yes that is the modern lifeboat. Thanks Frances.
It has everthing that i love Brian... boats... piers... village... lighthouse and ocean....great composition....petersmile
Brian Walbey: And on the cliff top a ruined Abbey and fine old church as well Peter.
Good view down the water.
Brian Walbey: Hopefully it has given some idea of where most of the series images have been taken.
