Belton House - Part 3 7/7

Once the tour of the upper floor of Belton House has been completed the return to the ground floor is via a staircase in another part of the building.

I particularly liked this light that was hanging in the centre of the stairway area.

Brilliant, Brian.
You even caught a ghost up there on the grand staircase.
Brian Walbey: There were so many people about I couldn't avoid getting someone in the shot.
It is a rather fine light Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill.

Yes, you chose a fine angle of the room - a wonderful light reminding me a bit of Aladin's wonderlamp that exists only in my imagination- I like all the faces we can see around the lamp but they all are absorbed in their own world - there are some correspondences in this picture considering the three companies and some parallel and curved lines - I like this photo much!
Brian Walbey: Many thanks Philine.

It is a very attractive lamp, certainly. Presumably they are electric bulbs now? They look very bright for candles.
Brian Walbey: Yes they are electric lights of some sort Alan.
Very nice shot of this light Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Elizabeth.
This has been a lovely series, Brian. A taste of opulence
Brian Walbey: Many thanks Pamela.
