Twiddle Time Again 7/10

Chatsworth House Re-visited.

An early Shutterchance posting of mine was this one on 9th.March, 2008, of the big house at Chatsworth in Derbyshire.

As with yesterday I have put a single JPG image through Oloneo Photo Engine (Beta Edition) and come up with this.

The processing has lifted the strength of colour but has also given quite a nice effect to the trees in the background behind the house.

Actually, Brian, I don't much like the effect to the trees at the back...looks like you emulated a cheap little pocket camera with that one.
Brian Walbey: To be honest I'm not too keen on the trees either Ray.

LOL @ Ray's comment Brian....it is a great landscape gut i have to agree about the trees on the hill top right...they are sort of fuzzy and fused together....petersmile
Brian Walbey: Yes I agree about the trees also Peter.

The twiddle is ok with me
Brian Walbey: Thanks vintage.
Looks like a bad painter blobbed out some trees with a big brush. I like the lambs in the foreground though
Brian Walbey: Yes the trees are pretty awful I agree Marion, and Mary said the sheep are yellow, which they are. This could be bound for the Recycle Bin.

It's certainly changed the effect Brian
Brian Walbey: Mixed feelings on whether it is to the good though Chris.

the sky and clouds promise some rain I think
Brian Walbey: It didn't rain but turned quite dull.
A fine twiddle Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Michael.
Fine countryside to walk in and explore though
Brian Walbey: It is indeed Richard.

Not been to Chatsworth for about 15 years; this is a fine shot of the English countryside at its green best.
Brian Walbey: Many thanks Michael, it is quite a trek from you for a day out I should think.
The sheep are yellow!
Brian Walbey: I know now you told me Mary, oh dear perhaps I should have sent this to the Recycle Bin.
Yellow sheep - now there's a novelty. They didn't look like that when I passed through on Saturday morning!
Brian Walbey: I guess there were plenty of lambs running about on Sunday Tom, we have a lot round my way.
Seems to have done a good job here Brian, a rather splendid view.
Brian Walbey: Many thanks John.

It's a lovely composition, too, Brian. I've never seen the house from this viewpoint before so that's very welcome. There is something about sheep, trees and country houses that helps make this country.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan. This is on the road out of the Chatsworth estate going towards Matlock and the A6.
Great composition, great twiddling Brian.
Regards Tim.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Tim.

It has certainly softened them up a bit Brian.
Brian Walbey: They look a bit naff to be truthful Chad.
I prefer the original Brian. The trees look like they have come from my first ever camera where any enlargement looked all blurred like that
Brian Walbey: It is naff to be honest Bill, done in the best Ogden tradition.
Such beautiful countryside Brian, its good to experiment smile
Brian Walbey: Yes indeed Linda, thanks.

Had a look at the other version and I have to say I prefer it to this one. Unlike others, I have no objection to the fuzzy background trees but find the virulent green of the grass a step too far!
Brian Walbey: To be honest Ingrid it is very naff and I only put it here for the hell of it.
Nice rich colours.
Brian Walbey: Many thanks Graeme.
A very beautiful landscape Brian and lovely composition. A lovely capture and experiment.
Brian Walbey: Many thanks Laurette.
Well I like it Brian smile
Brian Walbey: yes it did have quite a mixed response Pamela, thanks.
