Sudbury Hall Re-visited 3/5

Two weeks ago I showed you Sudbury Hall from the outside and also the church next to the house.  In October we returned and went inside the house.  This short series is a few of the shots I took during that visit and, being a National Trust property, they were all taken hand-held without flash as per the regulations.

A very comfortable corner of a sitting room.  I could imagine sitting here with a good book, a roaring fire in Winter and glass of suitable liquid on the small corner table.

Three years ago today, 29th.December, 2007, I made my first posting on Shutterchance, this is posting number 873, I've lost count of the number of individual images when all the collages I do are taken into account.

"I could imagine sitting here with a good book, a roaring fire in Winter and glass of suitable liquid on the small corner table." That's more or less what I'm doing now although not in such opulent surroundings.
Brian Walbey: I guess you would need the "suitable liquid" after one of your walks Alan.
Indeed the first thought I had was of a cosy corner to sit and read. Time does seem to pass quickly when you are providing daily posts, may you have many more.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Les.
That looks pretty comfy!
Brian Walbey: The whole room is very cosy Tom.
