Two weeks ago I showed you Sudbury Hall from the outside and also the church next to the house. In October we returned and went inside the house. This short series is a few of the shots I took during that visit and, being a National Trust property, they were all taken hand-held without flash as per the regulations.
The main staircase in the house is, as you can see, very artistically carved and decorated and I suspect even a very wide lens would have a job getting it all in. Also out of picture at the bottom is a rope past which one is not allowed to go.
