photoblog image 'Scene' in Dorset - Muddeford 2/2

'Scene' in Dorset - Muddeford 2/2

This "longish" series comprises a variety of subjects and shots I took during our April visit to Dorset for our nephews wedding.

Muddeford Sandbank and Quay are very popular spots to visits by locals and tourists alike.  Rather than show a series of similar shots from the same place I hope this collage gives you some idea what the place is like from the Quay side of the channel.

Wonderful montage, Brian...one of your best.

Beats those stuffy old churches by a country mile.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray, but oh dear, there are some churches in this series which goes on to the end of the month.

A fine place to be on a summer day Brian
Brian Walbey: I should think so Chris although it was heaving with people at the end of April so might be over-loaded by now.

great montage Brian, you even got in a kite surfer for me smile
Brian Walbey: That's a kite surfer two days on the trot Tony, I am spoiling you grin
It does feel untouched by time, makes me want to be by the sea.
Brian Walbey: We liked it here although it is very popular and no doubt over-crowded in the summer.
A true postcard you made here, very nice!!!
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Marion.
Lovely set of images, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Many thanks Tom.

A really nice collection Brian I especially like the seagull on the post. Very well presented smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Linda, I was just hoping the seagull stayed there until i could get several shots of it.
Very nicely laid out Brian..I spent a few days there in my teens.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ron, you where there quite recently then grin
Yep. I can hear the seagulls singing and smell the sea. Nicely captured Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Janet, the seagulls and the sea are special treats for us living almost in the centre of the country.

Brian Walbey: Thanks Charle. The whole area round Muddeford is very popular and also very nice.

What a great name Brian, Mudeford, nicely put together.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Les.
Very nice Brian. You do some nice collages and they certainly enhance the places you feature.

A cracking set of images, Brian. You've managed to make it look like a working fishing port rather than somewhere full of holidaymakers so well done! I like the seagull on the post very much.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan. I guess Mudeford is always busy, this was an April Sunday and it was heaving with people.
beautiful collage
smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Rob.
