photoblog image David's Wedding 10/14

David's Wedding 10/14

On 24th.April we went to our nephew Davids wedding to Jennie in Dorset.  I took a few shots of the wedding party but also took the chance to try some candid once again and that is what I will show here, apart from the final image on 20th.June which will be the wedding couple.

Here's another shot of the lady from Monday's picture busy shooting something with her camera.

I heard on Monday that my photograph Northumbrian Nightfall has been selected to be the image for July, 2011 in next years calendar for The Leprosy Mission charity, I am, as you will realise, more than pleased.

Well done on your selection for the calendar, Brian. Getting one's work published certainly gives a buzz. Looks like the lady is old old hand at these sorts of things and is wearing sensible shoes!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan, you could be right about the lady although she is fairly tall so perhaps that explains the low heels.
Everyone gets there camera out at weddings. a tradition.
Brian Walbey: They do indeed Chad, much to the chagrin of the pro photographers.
Congratulations on your chosen picture Brian..It is super.
Brian Walbey: Many thanks Ron.
Well done, Well done, Well done ! Really exciting news, I am so pleased for you.

Well done with the Northumbrian Nightfall photo. It is well deserving
Brian Walbey: Thanks on both counts Janet.
