photoblog image David's Wedding 6/14

David's Wedding 6/14

On 24th.April we went to our nephew Davids wedding to Jennie in Dorset.  I took a few shots of the wedding party but also took the chance to try some candid once again and that is what I will show here, apart from the final image on 20th.June which will be the wedding couple.

Two of the pros.at work again, the lady photographer was over to the left, I can't actually remember what they were shooting.

The chap in the middle with the hat makes me think of an umpire at cricket, I don't know why.

looks like the pro's had some expensive equipment
Brian Walbey: They did indeed Tony.
I like watching the attitudes of the pros, thinking that if only my knees and hips were younger I might copy them and get some better shots. LOL smile
Brian Walbey: I still think the old adage applies Sheila, "It's the photographer and not the camera that makes the picture, the camera quality only adds to it."

You're right about the "cricket umpire"; it's the stance. I can see at least four cameras in this so let's hope they all got the shot they were after.
Brian Walbey: I guess they did Alan, I certainly did.
Look forward to seeing the focus of attention Brian
Brian Walbey: I can't actually remember what they were taking Janet, I was looking for shots not of the couple, well apart from a few smile
Yes - I like the fellow in the hat - it's the hands behind the back that make him look like an umpire, I think smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Tom.

Oh, so many photographers, the ladies and their hats look wonderful as if they were just at Ascot, some members' dressing is rather informal, other members wear formal clothing like the Sir with the hat, there seem to be great differences- as you like it!
Brian Walbey: Many thanks Philine.
Think they should of got married in Stratford while we were there Brian, save them a lot of money.
Brian Walbey: Definitely would have been a money saver Michael, and the reception at the local McDonalds perhaps.
Does the photographer at the back have a step ladder with him? A good idea for a different viewpoint.
Brian Walbey: Yes he did have a stepladder John, just like the pressmen do.
