David's Wedding 5/14

On 24th.April we went to our nephew Davids wedding to Jennie in Dorset.  I took a few shots of the wedding party but also took the chance to try some candid once again and that is what I will show here, apart from the final image on 20th.June which will be the wedding couple.

The little and large of photography side by side.  I don't know who the boy is but the man is my brother-in-law Ken, Maureens brother and father of the groom.  Shame about the half-people in the background, I didn't have time to change my position, and don't dare mention cloning, I'm not that good.

For this series I am posting over the weekend, if you are one of those who don't look in over the weekend I hope you will continue to enjoy this series on Monday.

The kids learn it all from us, don't they, Brian. Makes you want to be careful about your posture. smile
Brian Walbey: They certainly do Ginnie. Happy birthday for Sunday.
That kid should be in short trousers...

Brian Walbey: Do you mean the lad or my Brother-in-Law Richard smile

WEll dressed members of the press
Brian Walbey: In the U.K.members of the press are definitely not well dressed vintage, no doubt it is the same over there.
LOL!! Like you say yourself, pity those people in the top right corner are in the shot.

And a pity you seem to be standing above the level your two subjects are on.
If you would have been on their eye level or even lower, this shot would have had so much more impact.

But that is what comes with candids, what you see is what you get.

If you plan on keeping this shot for the family, I would be more than happy to clone out the redundant people for you.
Brian Walbey: It was very much a case of see and shoot Marion although I do agree that your suggestion might change the composition quite well. It isn't that I can't clone, I do a lot of it before you all see my images but at the time I done this one I also done all the rest of the series, another 3-week series that starts on the 21st,and even more stuff for my Flickr from the same few days in Dorset.
I doubt if the young lad will ever be as well-dressed again smile
Brian Walbey: People don't seem to dress the children up for special occasions like they used to do they Tom.

Giod to see the little 'un taking an interest, too! I wonder what he thought about having to wear a suit, Brian?
Brian Walbey: Actually this young lad seemed to really enjoy hinself right through the whole occasion Alan.
I wonder who got the best shot? Perhaps like the little boy with the bamboo cane next to the angler with expensive gear who catches the fish.
Brian Walbey: Lol. It would be interesting to find out the answer to your question John.
All seem to have the right stance for this work Brian..Nice one.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ron, it's called Photographers Crouch.
excellent candid.....
like it
Brian Walbey: Many thanks Rob.
What a smart pair they make - even if they don't know each other.
Brian Walbey: Couldn't avoid taking this, i will email ac opy to my brother-in-law.
The young one must have thought that he knows what he is doing so tagged along. Lovely capture Brian
Brian Walbey: Many thanks Janet.
