photoblog image David's Wedding 4/14

David's Wedding 4/14

On 24th.April we went to our nephew Davids wedding to Jennie in Dorset.  I took a few shots of the wedding party but also took the chance to try some candid once again and that is what I will show here, apart from the final image on 20th.June which will be the wedding couple.

This lady really seemed to be enjoying her photography, she was taking shots ten to the dozen of all and sundry just like I was.

Yup! She's got the bug...and, good on her.

I like her outfit, too...when she is sick of wearing it she can re-use it as dining-room drapes. [grin]
Brian Walbey: Perhaps her outfit was made from the dining-room drapes Ray, only joking smile
I think she may have emptied that glass a few timessmile
Brian Walbey: Well there certainly wasn't any limit on the post ceremony, pre Wedding Breakfast fare of Pimms and shortbread at this juncture Bill.

Dont know why but all l could think of was four weddings and a funeral
Brian Walbey: NO I don't know either Tony smile
Two hands are not enough to do everything at the same time Brian! Fine capture.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard.
Cunning disguise for photographer from Hello magazinesmile
Brian Walbey: One never can tell John, but somehow I don't think so. Mind you the brides family lives quite near to Sandbanks I believe.

Digital photography is the joy of the modern age Brian: and she has obviously really taken to it
Brian Walbey: She was really enjoying herself Chris.

Brian Walbey: No my dress was quite plain Michael smile Did I really say that?

One thing I like about weddings is that its one of the few times people make the effort with their clothes, as here. The dress is not to my taste but 9/10 for effort!
Brian Walbey: My daughter is getting married next year and is going down the Morning Suit route, at least it saves me buying a new suit, something I stopped wearing when I retires 6 years ago.

Oooooooooh, what a dress- the Queen of Roses! Fine that you did take her! Clothes with flower designs seem to be favourites in England- we have in our town a Laura Ashley shop where you can buy some clothes with similar patterns- and a collegue of mine, English teacher, of course, loved wearing those wide, long, colourful dresses at school- a pleasure for the pupils!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Philine, the ladies fashion angle on this shot never came to my mind, she just seemd to be enjoying herself.
Camera, glasses, what else does she need. good shot of her enjoying the day smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Linda.
She is having fun - and so were you. Very good candid shot.
Brian Walbey: Many thanks Sheila.
Weddings are one of the few occasions we get put get dressed up these days. We should try and invent more of them. Nice shot Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Linda. One wedding a year is enough thanks, my daughter is getting married next April, that's costing enough for one year I think smile
Its good to have an interest Brian..she looks to be doing well..
Brian Walbey: She does look as though she is enjoying herself Ron.
She certainly has a colourful presence, Brian!
Brian Walbey: Yes indeed Tom, thanks for your comment.
great look on her dial.....
those P&S really are a revolution . .smile
Brian Walbey: And they have good quality as well Rob, or at least my little canon does.
