Fun Week 3/5 - My Little Friend

Please don't take this weeks images too seriously, it is a selection of "mucked about" images just for the fun of doing it.

Some years ago we went to the area around Inverness in the north of Scotland and whilst sitting enjoying a snack lunch on the banks of the River Ness this little bird, as they do, came close to see what it could scavenge.

I haven't done much to what was a dullish picture except a touch of Levels and a tweak in Topaz.

Love the perspective, Brian, and the innovative framing of the animal with your size 9's.
Brian Walbey: Size 10's to be honest Ray, thanks for your comment.
Great fun Brian, but the shoes should be red!
Brian Walbey: You know what they might say about a man in red shoes Bill, definitely not my scene smile

That looks like a juvenile gull scavenging for sandwiches to me Brian!
Brian Walbey: It did get a few scraps left over from my sausage roll Chris.

He was admiring your very fine pair of shoes, Brian!!! smile
Brian Walbey: Sadly these shoes have gone to the great shoe dump in the sky Ginnie and they were sooo comfortable.
Are those your slippers Brian or just very comfortable shoes?
Brian Walbey: Some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever had Chad, they are gone now sadly.
Looking for a handout - not a footout.
Brian Walbey: It got both in the end Mary, a bit of suasage roll if I recall.

Young sea gulls are such fun to shoot, with their feathers still in juvenile colours. They blend very well with the shows, socks and trousers of the person. Maybe he thought you were mummy??
Brian Walbey: I hope not Marion, I could make a fortune if I could lay an egg smile
Fabulous shot Brian. Love it
Brian Walbey: Thanks Janet.
Great fun shot, he is being brave and your shoes look so comfortablesmile
Brian Walbey: They were comfortable Linda, sadly they have worn out now and I can't find anymore like them.
He's got his eyes on those blue suede shoes, which reminds me of a song.
Brian Walbey: yes but sadly Elvis wasn't one of my favourite singers unlike these shoes John which were so comfortable before they wore out.

LOL!! I guess you could already make a fortune if you started practicing your cackle and wiggling your bottom cheeks, standing behind a hat lying on the ground on a market square somewhere in a nice town!!

*mental note to self, should try that one day!!*
Brian Walbey: I might be a tad too old for that Marion!
A goog fun shot Brian..but nicely composed..Good one.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ron.

Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Derek.

Looking for luch no doubt, well caught Brian.
Brian Walbey: It had already snaffled some of my sausage roll Les.
Nice and crisp Brian and ten out of ten for composition
Brian Walbey: The little bird done just what it was told and finished off the picture nicely.
I wonder occasionally what we look like to them: the bird could easily be thinking, "his feet are bigger than my whole body!" But like everyone else, I love the humour of this, ditto the composition!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Donald. I suspect the little character was wondering if I'd got anymore sausage roll to spare smile
