Fun Week 2/5 - The Great Tower, Rutland Water

Please don't take this weeks images too seriously, it is a selection of "mucked about" images just for the fun of doing it.

The original of this image was featured on 22nd.January last and had already received a touch of Topaz to bring out the colour and detail because it was taken under pretty awful conditions.

I decided to put the image through PhotoSketcher (a freebie download) and then, because it looked a bit like a sketch, thought it might be fun to provide a surround, title and frame.

It is a lot of fun, Brian, and the result is a very presentable image.
Brian Walbey: Many thanks Ray.
With results like this, keep on having fun Brian and showing us the results. Yesterdays image was superb.

You are turning into Bill Phillips - a terrible fate!
Brian Walbey: Oh I do hope not Chris, perhaps I should calm down!
Better than turning into Chris Phillips and having a rotten bench in your garden
Brian Walbey: I have got a rotten bench in my front garden Bill, it must be catching!
PS Great twiddle!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill.

I specifically like the trees. They get that etchy touch I like a lot.

Do you take unmucked photos more seriously than photos that have been mucked about Brian? Because I like this PP a lot!!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Marion. I just enjoy taking and PP'ing my photos. I'm sadly not very creative but serious or fun I get just as much enjoyment from either.
I like this alot Brian, really well done and it suits the framesmile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Linda.

Nicely done, Brian. Sometimes the far but not in this case. I will have to look at Photosketcher when I'm back home.
Brian Walbey: Fotosketcher is more for fun than serious stuff Alan but well worth a look.
Very well processed! The result is fantastic!
Brian Walbey: Many thanks RS.
i like it Brian, it looks like a pencil drawing and then painted, very good
Brian Walbey: Thanks derek.
