photoblog image Loughborough Market Place 6/9

Loughborough Market Place 6/9

There was recently a combined French, Crafts and Collectors Market in the Market Place at Loughborough so, egged on by Richard (Trimage), I took my camera down.  Sadly it was dull, damp and misty so I only took the simple compact, hence these pictures are lacking a lot in contrast, and in some cases the Auto slow shutter speed has meant longish exposures for hand holding.  Still, I hope you enjoy them, I'm still a novice at this candid stuff.

I saw this big fellow standing behind this lady who is a lot smaller than him.  Whether they know each other or not I was unable to determine but it was the difference in size between them that caught my eye.  I just made sure I didn't catch his eye, this is a waist level shot. :-)

Very fine street shot, Brian.

Did you have a fast exit planned...just in case?
Brian Walbey: I would have hidden behind Maureen Ray, he surely wouldn't strike a women smile

My guess is he is also strong...but you may be faster, Brian. He'd make a good troll/giant prop for a movie. grin
Brian Walbey: He certainly might have been a bit bouncy in places if he had chased me off Ginnie smile

Brian Walbey: What's called the long and short of it Tony.
David and Goliath!
Well spotted and captured Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Richard.
'' ... any size fourteen trainers?''

Brian Walbey: "... and a large belt?" smile
With these candid shots Brian, i think you could become a P.I,
They are very good.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Linda, why don't you give it a try sometime, quite a few of us seem to be trying to catch Richard Trim up these days.
This made me laugh Brian. Great capture.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Janet.
They are all looking intently..
Brian Walbey: They certainly are Chad, but I don't know what at.

3 totally different portraits, very nice captured!

This is certainly a marked difference in their size. Best to avoid making eye contact, I think, Brian wink Well seen.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Alan, I wouldn't have taken it had he glanced my way for sure smile
