photoblog image Loughborough Market Place 4/9

Loughborough Market Place 4/9

There was recently a combined French, Crafts and Collectors Market in the Market Place at Loughborough so, egged on by Richard (Trimage), I took my camera down.  Sadly it was dull, damp and misty so I only took the simple compact, hence these pictures are lacking a lot in contrast, and in some cases the Auto slow shutter speed has meant longish exposures for hand holding.  Still, I hope you enjoy them, I'm still a novice at this candid stuff.

It was surprising how many people stopped and looked at this strange bicycle type contraption in the bike rack. I think the lady has spotted me, oh dear.

I like it a lot, Brian.

The 3 young gals in the windows have noticed you, too, and I am interpreting at least 2 of them as giving you the "Come hither...now...Young Man!" look that is high on impossible to ignore. [grin]
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray. The ladies are in the HSBC bank, and Maureen was close by, the "come hither" would have done me no good at all.

A very odd thing Briabn: home made I wonder?
Brian Walbey: I think it must have been homemade Chris, the rider was almost laying down when I saw them later on.
It looks like something Clive Sinclair might have designed! Well spotted
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill. Perhaps this is a prototype of the latest in "green" transport.

Looks like a cross between a pram and a bicycle!
Ingrid
Brian Walbey: Do you know Ingrid, I think you are right.
They are thinking 'Damn, it's locked'.
Brian Walbey: You obviously think they might have had a run up the road on it then Chad.
They look quite intrigued Brian!
Well seen and captured.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Richard.
We dont see many of these Brian. Quite a work of art!..Well seen.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Ron.

Looks to be one of those recumbrant tricyles.. too low in my opopinion and so less visible. She's admiring your camera, I believe.
Brian Walbey: Perhaps she's admiring me Alan, no probably not smile
You have a good excuse with this one Brian, its just you had a camera to look at the bike!
Brian Walbey: The bikes were a good alternative as far as the people were concerned Linda.
He's saying '' I want one of those ... ''

richard
Brian Walbey: Or "What blxxxy idiot rides that I wonder?"
Very odd Brian. there doesn't seem to be any footrests. 'elf 'n' safety probably wouldn't be too impressed.
Brian Walbey: They certainly wouldn't Janet, I seem to think it was a lady riding this thing.

A good capture though Brian, there is one of these low tricycles here in Southport with a dog extension on the back.
Brian Walbey: I have seen quite a few of these araond Les, someone in our village rides one about sometimes.
Nice one Brian, I like the expressions on the people's faces
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Pamela.
