Best of the Cotswolds 7/7

When I posted my three week set of collages of the Cotswolds in August/September several of you said you would like to see several of the images full size so I make no apology for repeating those ones and a couple of my more favourite ones from the set.

Philine liked this particular photograph taken outside the old mill at Lower Slaughter.  What wasn't obvious in the smaller version was the wording on the chalk board by the door for the ice cream.  I dread to think what they put in it!

Organic hand made ice cream!!! It sounds very interesting!
Brian Walbey: And it tasted very nice as well RS. Thanks for your comment.
They must do a roaring business, Brian. How could anyone pass on that?

I like the way the red letterbox gives the scene a nice punch of color.
Brian Walbey: Thanks for your comment, I believe the post box is still in use.

Do I read correctly? "Orgasmic hand made"? Nana! I like the red letter box and the lion dog- it all looks very English! I had entered this shop and bought an icecream- but the best one might be Cornish Ice Cream!
Brian Walbey: This ice cream was very nice as it happens Philine, mind you it didn't do what it said on the packet smile

Regards Jim
Brian Walbey: Didn't have that effect on me Jim, perhaps I didn't have a big enough ice cream smile Thanks for your comment.
This is a lovely shot Brian, so many bits to look at, the post box being my favourite.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Linda. I think the box might still be in use.
Organic orgasmic ice cream. Well, I guess a lot of viewers will have to pay a visit to Lower Slaughter. Sounds too good to be true. Well spotted.

On a serious note - nice milk churn and nice postbox.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Sheila, I must be getting old, it just tasted like nice ice cream to me, no "extra" effect smile

Typical Cotswold understatement Brian, a nice detail image.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Les.
Nice contrasts.

"Orgasmic Hand Made Ice Cream", I really wonder who this would taste smile
Brian Walbey: Thanks Paul, I don't know what the ice cream tastes like but it might be fun finding out smile
