A Yorkshire Weekend - Hebden Bridge 6/7

We had a weekend away in mid-September and visited among other places Hebden Bridge and this week this series will concentrate on a few shots of that small town.

The Shoulder Of Mutton public house backs on to the river I have showed for the last three days and on the sunny Saturday we were there the customers were taking advantage of the weather to enjoy lunch out in the open air of the town centre square.

Brian Walbey: Thanks Rob. Are you sure you wouldn't rather have a good old pint of English bitter though.

The days of outside drinking seem a long time ago already. Shame they have nowhere to store their barrels out of side and the broken bench.
Brian Walbey: You certainly wouldn't drink outside round my way today Alan, it is awful. I found the bric-a-brac in the strett out of place to the surroundings to be honest.
A very pretty Yorkshire town. I like the building with the climbing plant all over and the warm sunshine.
A very inviting shot here Brian...and plenty to look at.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Ron.
Just caught up with the series, Brian. Very nice indeed. I'm almost sure that I have visited this place, but only for a short stop and walk going to or from somewhere else. It looks familiar. Anyway - very nice series.
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Sheila, we only got less than two hours there including having lunch, that's th only trouble being on a coach trip.
