A Yorkshire Weekend - Hebden Bridge 3/7

We had a weekend away in mid-September and visited among other places Hebden Bridge and this week this series will concentrate on a few shots of that small town.

Hebden also has a small river called Hebden Water running though parallel to the canal I showed for the last two days.

This is taken from a bridge behind the old mills that still line the canal.

This is a fine image of a beautiful scene, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray.
This is a lovely shot, the building are lovely with the shrubs moving your eyes down the river towards the chimnes stackes and under the bridge to its next destination.
Brian Walbey: It's quite a pretty little river considering it is right in the middle of an old industrial community Cheryl.

I would go there in a New York minute, Brian! You have a way at whetting the appetite!
Brian Walbey: Your list of places to see over here gets longer by the week Ginnie. By the way, did you see how many of the men want to join you on the canal boat I showed on Monday smile
Nice addition to this series Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Bill.
You are making these places look to good Brian, another place on my list to visit!
Brian Walbey: We really liked the place Linda, but sadly when you are on a coach you don't get that much time anywhere.

It looks a good haven forwildlife, Brian, as there seems to be little access for the Great Unwashed.
Brian Walbey: They would certinly have a job getting down to this bit of the river Alan. Thanks for your comment.
So different in feel from late Victorian days ... lovely.

This looks like a wonderful place, Brian. You've captured it very well. Looks almost stranded in time.
Brian Walbey: We really liked it there harv. We just expected an old Yorkshire industrial town, which it is, but it is now very nice to go to.
beautiful
Brian Walbey: Thanks very much Toni.
